Up here blueberry picking is a hobby. Long sunny days are spent in your favourite patch of bush collecting these lovely berries. Some of the wonderful friends I met on moving up shared their spoils with us – more than we could possibly eat in one sitting. So we froze the rest for mid winter griddle cake extravaganzas.
